SHIPPING POLICY

Credit Card Fraud Protection policies work hand in hand with our shipping companies and their policies. We don’t make the rules, we just follow them so both you (customer) and us (vendor) are protected. Please don’t be offended, and if you think about it, it all makes sense. We ship most of our products via FedEx or UPS Ground. Items over $500 in value are also shipped with Signature Confirmation.

Our boats and paddle boards are high value items and CANNOT be left unattended at the front door, in the driveway, on the porch, or with a neighbor. No exceptions. The customer's signature is required as a proof of delivery. 

FedEx and UPS may accept the timeframe for delivery or hold the item for pickup at a local Facility as per customer requests. Please call 1-800-GO-FEDEX or 1-800-PICKUPS for details.

We ship all products valued at over $300 ONLY to the credit card billing address. No exceptions. However, orders paid by check can be shipped anywhere within lower 48 states.

Our shipping costs include full insurance up to the value of the item being shipped. As per current FedEx. and UPS Damage Claim Policies, customers have 20 days to report shipping damages from the date your package was delivered. After that period NO shipping damage claims will be satisfied by the shipping company. It is the customer’s responsibility to notify us about any shipping damages within the proper time frame.

Accessories (smaller items) that have been damaged during shipment must be sent back to our warehouse for replacement as per our Warranty Policy. Please visit Contact Us page for Return address. 

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive an email from the shipping company with a tracking number.

After the 3rd attempt to deliver the package, FedEx or UPS will send it back unless you contact them 1-800-GO-FEDEX or 1-800-PICKUPS to arrange a local pick up. Customers are responsible for package receiving and all associated shipping charges.  

If the order has been cancelled after it has been already shipped out, or refused to be accepted, the appropriate shipping amount will be deducted from the total of refund. Shipping charges are NOT refundable.

Shipping outside of the lower 48 States and Overseas

Shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, and the Caribbean? Please email us your actual Ship To address for a quotation.

For all other international destinations – please contact a shipping company of your choice that will handle shipping from our warehouse in Southern California to your location outside of the US. You will be responsible for any customs and or duty charges on your end. 

Here are a couple of commonly asked questions:

Question: What if I am away from home all day and cannot be at home to receive the boat? Can you ask that Fed Ex. or UPS just leaves the boat at my door?

Answer:   To be protected from credit card fraud, we (vendor) must have the credit card holder's signature on file with FedEx. or UPS. Most importantly, if the boat is left at the door and later stolen, who would be responsible for the loss? The customer’s signature on file with FedEx is the only way for us to have proof of delivery.

Question: Can I have the boat shipped to an alternative address other than the billing address stipulated on my credit card statements?

Answer: According to our major credit card security regulations, in order to be protected from credit card fraud and charge backs, the item MUST be shipped ONLY to the credit card holders billing address.
